The Naturals has been inspired by the beauty found in decaying flowers. Watercolour drawings informed open and textured double-cloth weaves, made out of 100% linen and coloured using fruit dyeing techniques, later assembled as a final garment, produced for styling purposes.The perspective and driving force of this project was triggered by a personal event in the loss of a close relative. This had an effect on the way that Carnan styled the final shoot and the subsequent direction/editing of the video.
